I finally found plastic clips for my skirts and light pants. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The clamps on this product are made of PLASTIC, NOT METAL. I've looked for PLASTIC clamps at Container Store, TJ MAXX, Marshalls, etc. I don't care about the metal clips because they compressed my clothes so much they left TERRIBLE marks. My skirts and pant cuffs had horrible marks from metal belt clips. Plastic is much better; less than the mark. I would not recommend hanging heavy pants like corduroy or lined jeans on this product. They are too heavy and can break the clamps (common sense!). All in all FIVE STARS! And THANKS to Whitmore for making the PLASTIC clips. Sincerely, a very satisfied customer.
