Pretty easy DIY installation process. I don't do this type of work very often and I was able to get it done in just over an hour. It comes with instructions that are really clear and helpful to take apart the old one and install the new one. Read them carefully before you begin. A few minor flaws: The color and fit didn't match the rest of my dashboard perfectly (2011 Fit Sport). The gray is a few shades away and doesn't match the original either. It's close enough for me. Also, I want it to come with clasps. They were a hassle to remove from the old finish without breaking them and they should only cost pennies.
