Seems like a decent case when you know what you're getting. The smart cover function works as promised and the magnets are very strong. The lid itself is made of soft plastic and is thick enough to protect the screen from bumps. The back is made of hard, thin plastic that offers very little bump protection, but offers good protection from scratches. As long as you take good care of your iPad, you shouldn't have a problem if you're looking for a non-bulky case. The soft cover is glued to the hard cover on a narrow strip inside and outside. It looks good at the moment, but if the glue is bad it will become a weak point over time. I installed a protective glass and it doesn't interfere with the case.
