Review on Gator Frameworks Microphone Adjustment GFW MIC 1201 by Andrew Holman

Very heavy base, seems accurate and strong! I had a unique application, I wanted to use my Panasonic GH-4 and accessories as a 4k webcam, but I had very little space behind a large 43" Philips monitor. There's a window right behind it, or I could put up a shelf, no tripod will work. This mic stand along with a cheap 5/8" ball head adapter did the trick! The ONLY caveat is that it seems impossible to really tighten and lock the height adjuster. Nothing slips, but it feels like it can!
