After the replacement, the OXO Good Grips are still NOT blocking!

These pliers are designed to lock but DO NOT WORK. They were returned and the exact same product was sent. Pliers that DO NOT LOCK. The tongs are shown as they appear when closed, and not at all. They are too long to NOT be able to block them. The span takes up too much space in my dish drawer when open and is bulky as it mixes with other small kitchen utensils in that drawer. I had to tie them with a coffee bag tie to keep them relatively flat when stored!
