I have a kitchen faucet from a well-known manufacturer. I had two pinholes in the hose that allow the faucet to be lowered. I was told it would take 5 weeks for the parts to arrive. I used two part epoxy on a hole on one end and it worked really well. I bought the flex gasket as I needed to go under the sink for the second hole and wanted an easier repair. I cut a piece of this ribbon and wrapped it around the hole. I turned on the water and it pushed the water out of the end of the band. I put another piece where the water came out and tried again. Again, instead of filming the sequence with three puppets, I went with epoxy.
