FINALLY! I started out with these boots with a zipper that didn't work AT ALL. I don't have an unusually large or narrow foot, but the zipper just didn't go to my right size. I didn't think a half size would fit better because the length was pretty much perfect. I went for an 8.5 in these boots, which is half a size too big for me; only because I didn't want it to be too tight at the top, which seemed to be an issue with the zippers. These work very well! However, they are a little loose in the toe area as they are half a size larger. They're real leather, so right out of the box they're pretty stiff - any good leather shoe needs a good break-in period! I wanted them to work so hard because of all the great reviews! I need good leather riding boots that will last me for YEARS. I hope I finally found it! To be honest I don't know what to offer you readers. Half the size or stay true to size. It seems to me that half as much works better, but I don't necessarily know why? Maybe they're made for a very narrow foot, which I confess I don't have. But I don't have fat or wide feet either! stain protection. I want them to last as long as possible! Especially since I will drive in it! I hope the enema doesn't take too long. On the other hand, they're very stiff right out of the box, so you'll need to break them in. Just remember that they don't fit INSTANTLY like they should. - over time they should become much more comfortable! 😁 Anyway, I'll update later if something goes wrong with them. If not, I HOPE they turn out to be such great boots for me!
