So comfortable! in shoes

Recently started riding. I have Ariat Fatbaby boots from 16 years ago which were absolutely amazing but it was definitely time to update them. These are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever tried on! The first time I wore them I was in them for 14 hours straight and they were so comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the tongue was a little scratched when I received it, but the laces cover that so they don't cut me off too much.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't remember

Sturdy, lasts many years

This is my second pair. I literally took the soles off the first pair. This pair has been through a lot and has been worn daily for work, play and martial arts. They have lasted me at least five years and probably would have lasted longer if I had taken better care of them. Apply saddle soap regularly and treat with mink oil (nourishes leather and helps repel water), let dry new never if they get very wet (then clean and oily) and they will last for years.

  • good item
Cons
  • not the best

Not durable: breaks down in less than 3 months

My mother and I have relied on Ariat boots in the past for double functional and beautiful footwear, but I'm sorry to say that the pair I ordered in September, let me down. We liked them for being comfortable and durable, but I didn't find this pair to be durable. Although the boots were great initially, after a little over 2 months the soles started to separate from the main body of the shoe and the laces started rubbing the leather in an unattractive way causing water to seep into my left…

Pros
  • Easy to fit
Cons
  • Expensive

best deal on quality paddock boots

I bought these boots over two years ago and they are still in excellent condition. I've worn them to stable chores, volunteered at a therapeutic riding centre, trained and played (with one half from Dublin) probably averaging over 10 hours a week. They fit perfectly and are comfortable for walking and riding. My only complaint is that they are not very insulated for the winter. I have just purchased a pair of Ariat insulated paddock boots for an equestrian treatment center but will not purchase

  • nice packaging

  • negative impression

These are functional paddock boots

Let me start by saying that I have worn Ariats for many years and am an avid rider who wears their boots every day. At the same time, this is NOT what Ariats were 20 years ago, but they are functional and comfortable. My last pair of ridden boots had round toes and I was disappointed that they only lasted a couple of years before the stitching on the toe came undone. Decided to try this style instead and see if they hold up better to casual wear. They are not as comfortable as round toe models,

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others

Hooray! I *think* I finally got it right!

FINALLY! I started out with these boots with a zipper that didn't work AT ALL. I don't have an unusually large or narrow foot, but the zipper just didn't go to my right size. I didn't think a half size would fit better because the length was pretty much perfect. I went for an 8.5 in these boots, which is half a size too big for me; only because I didn't want it to be too tight at the top, which seemed to be an issue with the zippers. These work very well! However, they are a little loose in the
