This is a 1/4 cup measuring spoon. Overall, for my needs, I like this more as a scoop than an accurate measuring cup. Pros: Excellent high gloss finish Exceptionally strong, handle does not bend easily Pointed oval design works well for digging stuff out of wide-mouth cans. Cons: Volume less than 1/4 cup, more like 0.228 cup. It is checked by weighing water with a full spoon. 1ml of water = 1 gram. I was only able to add 54g of water before it went over the fill level. For a true 1/4c it must have weighed 59g. The handle is smooth but sharp. It doesn't cut, but it's not convenient to hold on to for a long time. Maybe use a silicone pad on the pot handle for extra comfort?
