Someone writes that plastic is bad. It's even good, it's light and in conjunction with the Mark 2 you don't get as tired as with the 85 1.2. I used a lot of glasses for portraits like 50 1.2, 85 1.2, 85 1.8, 200 2.8, and helios. Long hesitated between the choice of 85 1.2 and 135 2.0. At 135 I was attracted by the price, I am a portrait painter and occasionally a wedding artist. I shot at 85 1.2 and was extremely pleased with the drawing and the working 1.2 hole, but it is very expensive and heavy, especially I did not like its proboscis. I read the reviews for a long time and came to the conclusion that 135mm is the ideal distance for me, the studios are now spacious, the streets too . Maybe you'll be lucky! And I made the right choice, this lens is too perfect to write about the shortcomings, they simply do not exist, except for cosmetic problems. They also write about the lens hood here, I can say that this is not a drawback, but a payment for the design. And in general, as I lived in my closet, I didnβt get it yet. I lost the lid, I use it without a filter, there are no scratches on the glass. If you are a portrait painter and you need the quality of the picture, then this is your glass. Sharp, very fast focus without slips, colors, contrast, lightness and drawing will simply not leave you indifferent. This is the same "masterpiece" button, but in the form of glass =)
