It's no mystery why I like these steak knives. The reasons are simple:1) They arrived in a nice looking box (the knives encased in protective foam inside the box), so they're suitable for gifts.2) They are nicely balanced knives, meaning they are easy to hold, comfortable in the hand.3) The handles feel sturdy, but not overly heavy.4) They are SHARP. They can handle steak, or even de-boning a chicken (They are not meant for de-boning --they're steak knives-- but I'm saying they are sharp enough to tackle de-boning.)5) They're easy to wash and clean.Some reviews have mentioned problems with rust (?) to which I say, dry your knives thoroughly. Don't leave them sitting around wet, and you won't have a rust problem. :>)I think these are a solid four-star item. I will come back to update this review, and raise the rating to five stars if the knives hold up over time.
