It's like they punched these out of old washing machines, polished and sharpened them. I could easily bend the blade in half without much effort. The low quality of these knives makes me question the validity of all reviews. Even with thousands of positive reviews , it seems the odds of getting what is described is 50/50 at best.

I just received this steak knife set today. First, a very stiff cardboard gift box inside of brown box with logo. Foam padding through out. very nice. Knives have plastic sheath and tip protector. These knives ARE FULL TANG which you cannot see in pictures. Very sharp out of the box. all four knives shaved my hair on arm with no drag at all. Balance is about 1/2 inch behind bolster. Blades are a little light, but not too light. A magnet will stick to it. Fit and finish on handle fits properly…

My husband I both love these high quality knives for the way they fit in our hands and the way they cut. These are SHARP! (Take care! The tips are covered, but the entire edge is very sharp.) We bought two sets off 4 knives in Dec 2018.couldn't be happier with these knives. Bought the 5" smooth blades and it is such a smooth and precision slice with no effort. Beautiful knives that have accidently made it through thru the dishwasher a few times and still look great. The stunning wood handles still beautiful and impressive. I wasn't expecting much for the price, but the edge retention on these knives is just terrible. After a few meals using a knife, it needs to be re sharpened. Should have spent some extra money on better knives.

Enjoying these knives. Hand wash only. But appear to be holding up nicely and cuts all meat quickly and cleanly. That's my feedback.

It's no mystery why I like these steak knives. The reasons are simple:1) They arrived in a nice looking box (the knives encased in protective foam inside the box), so they're suitable for gifts.2) They are nicely balanced knives, meaning they are easy to hold, comfortable in the hand.3) The handles feel sturdy, but not overly heavy.4) They are SHARP. They can handle steak, or even de-boning a chicken (They are not meant for de-boning --they're steak knives-- but I'm saying they are sharp enough

I usually buy expensive knives, but just had a hard time spending a lot for steak knives. I found these, for the price these are real nice, quality and yes they are sharp. Not your typical serrated edge garbage. Easily could sell for twice the price. I suspect the are made in China, but regardless they are of very nice quality, seem to be quality steel and the fit is more than acceptable. They are heavy, wide and hand filling, which is compliment for a good beef steak.

These were purchased as s gift and my friends were delighted totally with everything about this product. I will order these again for myself, excellent for cutting steaks.

Very nice weight. Handle is a very pretty wood. Edge is very sharp. I think these will be the LAST steak knives I ever purchase!

These knives are extremely sharp and have a great edge to re-hone if needed. The wood grain is beautiful and the balance is great in my hand. I think these are really nice steak knives for the money.

I’ve only had this set for a few weeks, but so far I’m a fan. They’re sharp and do their job while also being attractive. The only thing I noticed and didn’t like is that the handle’s metal and wood parts don’t meet perfectly level so there’s a bit of an edge that’s annoying.

It’s a beautiful knife set, sturdy and handsome. Cuts well and has a beautiful wood handle.*we did have to return a set as there was an issue with the metal inlay and wood handle not being smooth enough. But it was a very easy exchange

This is our second set of these. We need a set for our RV. They are go good. Not only are they lovely to look at they are so sharp. We really like the fact that we can sharpen them ourselves.

The blade is not as heavy as you would think with this nice handle. It works, but I’d been happy to pay more for a heavier blade.
