These are great for home projects and I love that they are versatile and can be used inside or out. This type of wood fastener looks nicer than traditional wood screws. I like that my drill doesn't slip off the screw, which is common when using a flat head or sometimes even a Phillips. Supplied with T20 bit and self-tightening. If you're not using a guide, which is always recommended, try drilling it 1/2 deep, backing it off a little, then screwing it all the way in. At least it works fine for me.
