UPDATED January 29, 2016 damn month how did I get this replacement what is that sick joke? "List price: $229.99", are you crazy? I have never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life. EDIT * Got a replacement and used it for 5 days, luckily this works as intended, screen dimming, video output is very stable, no complaints so far. 4/5 because I'm concerned about Kensington's quality control. Monitor: HD LED 1080p TV monitor. 4k monitor BYE) with a high-performance laptop. Go on; HDMI output was a bit of a disaster, random clipping, random 0.5 sec color static and dimming, I had a lower spec USB to HDMI output that worked even better. I really hope this is a faulty product and it doesn't happen again when I get a replacement. Just so you know I've only used simple functional apps, I'm well aware that this product shouldn't support graphically demanding 3D apps (like games for example), once I test the replacement I'll edit it.
