Well, first of all, it's a large clip. I clearly had a much smaller picture in mind. It's hard, very hard. But with everything said, I used it for a very different reason than it was intended. I wanted to attach a piece of wood to the windowsill to extend it 6 inches. Basically, I wanted a lower windowsill to accommodate more plants. Luckily, this sturdy heavy duty clamp will do the job just fine. I couldn't be happier. But I was surprised when it arrived lol. The holes in the base clip are perfect for screwing wood together, keeping everything in one piece.
