I installed a digital antenna in the attic and needed a splitter to send the signal to multiple rooms. It was exactly what I needed. The device is reportedly getting warm, but I've had it on for a few days and it's a little warm. If you have connections to anything other than the red-fed port, the signal will be split and sent down the line. The port requires the device to be connected. If it is not connected, no signal is transmitted on this line. I used this line for a cable that went into 3 different rooms and split again along the line. I have no problems with this device. It works as expected.
