At the end of 2022, tires in the size 215/70 R16 were ordered for an Outlander XL, and they securely got through the winter. This is my first Velcro; all of my other vehicles, including the Hakka-2, NF-3, Hakka-5, and Nordman-4, featured spikes. What I'm trying to convey is that the tires are good; they handle thick snow well and don't sink in; they also perform well on muck, rolling snow, and wet asphalt. On bare ice, they act predictably, although they are obviously inferior than spikes - the speed must be decreased according to the difference in braking distance between spikes and Velcro)). Whoever claims there is noise is either lying or using a different rubber mixture's composition; there is NO noise. Only at 140 km/h do my tires begin to make noise, and then you can really hear the "helicopter" rumble. I made the personal decision to exclusively use friction tires on 4WD now, and to simply slow down on days when there is a lot of ice.
