Good for light to medium work, these clamps are best suited for the occasional carpenter, not the one who makes a living at it. The clamps look nice, with rubberized grips like a set of screwdrivers. Easy to put on and in most cases they hold up well. They don't appear to be very strong or durable, perhaps due to the lightweight aluminum construction. They work and I had no problem holding some MDF boards together while gluing and screwing them together. I've tried this with some ferrous welding rods and it works, but not strong enough unless you're working with smaller parts. There are holes to screw one or both to a table, which might be the best option if you intend to use them for welding. I don't think it's terrible and they work great for me for home projects. . I needed corner clips so this is definitely better than nothing. I also think they work better than vise type angle clamps and are easier to use. The screws that come with it are weird and I think it's a trick to trick you into choosing them over another brand without screws? Makes no sense, I would never use wood corner screws with this head, but maybe I'm missing something. Overall I'm happy with it for my basic needs.
