Review on Helly Hansen Primaloft Waterproof Breathable by Jeannie Story

This long padded jacket is exactly what I was looking for and now I look forward to when it rains so I can wear it and know I am completely dry stay. I like that it's waterproof but not hard or rubbery. The hood can be stowed in the stand-up collar and covers the head perfectly when required without slipping or sliding down the face. The jacket is well made and I love the attention to detail. Soft flannel is where the skin meets the jacket: in the pockets and on the back of the collar. I recently noticed the hidden zippered chest pocket (pictured) - perfect for carrying cash or a credit card. Before ordering I checked the size chart and found the measurements are accurate so I would say the jacket is true to size. The sleeve length is perfect. The red I bought is called 'Cabernet' and is a nice rich colour, not too bright and a good alternative to a dull olive or black on a rainy day.
