Definitely not durable, in fact I just took it out of the box tonight and it's quite wobbly. I'll take a closer look tomorrow to see if there's anything that needs tightening, but it didn't look like it. It works if you only use it to store light iPad stuff. Definitely not for textbooks or writing. My 13 inch laptop was too big for it. But still it's held up well so if that's all you need then it will work.
