Review on 🗂️ HFS (R) Heavy Duty Guillotine Paper Cutter - 12'' (12 Inch Paper Cutter) by Kristen Simpson

I have to say this is probably one of the best purchases I've ever made! The price is literally unbeatable and the quality of this guillotine is amazing. It comes almost fully assembled, you just have to fold over the clamp handle. It took less than a minute, and came with instructions (as well as instruction manuals - if they're confusing they have a YouTube video on how to use them, I promise it's not difficult!). As for performance. this tailor is a dream. It cuts through stacks of paper like butter. You don't need much strength to operate this, but I suggest placing it on a sturdy table/desk. It's all metal, which makes it quite heavy, and you'll need some strength to cut very large stacks of paper. It cuts perfect 90 degree angles and the cuts are extremely accurate. There is a ruler at the top to help you line everything up. The only thing I would like to change is that the grid on the cutting surface was in inches/1/2 inch instead of centimeters. Because of this, the grid is mostly useless to me, but the moveable fence helps keep my lines straight. So it's not that important. Be sure to use scrap paper for the first few cuts as some oil will remain on the blades, although a few cuts should do the trick. Also make sure the clamp is tight and secure when cutting. This will prevent slipping, but may leave marks on the paper, but a few extra sheets or a piece of chipboard will solve this problem. Better too tight than too loose! I have to say that after a few cuts I noticed that the blade had a chip. I contact them immediately via Revain and explain the situation with a photo of the damage. They responded without an hour (which was amazing) and sent a new blade without question and I received it in 3-4 days. So now everything is perfect and I couldn't be happier! Overall this product is fantastic and the customer service is fantastic. If you're hesitant to buy one of these, don't hesitate! You will not be disappointed!
