This was the perfect replacement for the OE valve. My heating and air conditioning company charged over four hundred dollars to replace this part, which was an easy fifteen minute swap even for me, which is convenient but not THAT convenient. I'm so glad I was able to get this part and make it myself. It has a nice built in brass mesh water filter that catches any small stones in the water line so you do NOT need a separate plastic water filter. If you bought one, there's actually no room for it since the built-in device gets in the way (and that's okay). I would definitely buy it again if I ever need it.
