Review on ❄️ SubZero 17529 Universal Heavy Duty ArcticGuard Windshield Cover for Snow and Ice by Saul Rivera

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Suitable for very light use

Benefits: Works, one side is shiny (for summer) and the other side is white (for winter). Cons: Durability This windshield performs as expected. It covered most of a small car's windshield. I wouldn't recommend this for a place with regular heavy snow (and ice) in winter due to the uncovered gap. After a few uses, including opening the screen and then folding it neatly, I noticed tears in one of the folds on the edges. In addition, more light is visible in the folds. At the moment the screen is still working, but I don't know for how long. It's ok for me as I put it on light use. If you need to use it regularly, you can look elsewhere. Turning the screen on and off is a chore even when there's no wind. You must open both front doors. There is an elastic band with a hook on both sides of the screen. You pulled these straps through the open doors in the car and hooked the two hooks together. Hooks are made of thick plastic; they are a bit difficult to assemble. I wish there were metal hooks instead, but if you accidentally loosen a stretched rubber band while trying to connect two hooks together, the plastic hooks will do a lot less damage to your car.

Pros
  • Internal hooks reduce theft and eliminate loose ends
Cons
  • Repair
