Review on Kelty Redwing 44 Liter Backpack Port by Joyce Keesling

Only used this bag for one trip but was in East Africa for 3 months, 3000 miles on the motorbike so I think I got a chance to test it. I switched from a large drawstring bag to this bag and regret not switching sooner. The Redwing has held up well to all the abuse I've put it through and is showing no signs of wear at all. The design is very chic - I traveled with 2 document folders, an 11" laptop, 3 packing cubes of clothing (2 pants, 7 t-shirts, 4 button-down shirts, a long wool t-shirt and leggings, 3 pair of shorts, 7 pairs of socks, 7 pairs of underwear), a headlamp, Kindle, various electronic accessories, a mirrorless camera with standard and telephoto lenses, toiletries, a raincoat, a thick leather biker jacket and a leather shoulder bag. happy with how everything was accessible. Enough pockets/compartments for everything so there is room and not just a jumble of zips and velcro. The processing quality is very good. This isn't the most technologically advanced bag for camping or long trips across the country. , but perfect for long adventure oriented trips and will work fantastic in all but a few situations. This backpack will always be an asset, not a hindrance.
