So this product is not exactly what I was expecting based on pictures. I was looking for a fake bun that would totally conceal my own sad bun, and this product is more or less just a scrunchy with hair surrounding it. It doesn’t wrap OVER an existing bun, it wraps AROUND it to supplement it, I guess, which is a big bummer if you don’t have much to supplement in the first place. First, I ordered it because I have a purple balayage (the ends are very purple but my roots and most of the top of my head is dark/natural). When I have my hair pulled back, most people can’t even tell that my hair is purple until they see my ponytail at the back of my head. Current management doesn’t mind my purple hair but I’m looking for a new job and I thought I could use a bun cover to conceal the purple at interviews. Second, my hair is of a texture and at a length currently where it does not make a very attractive bun at all. Even if it were natural, I couldn’t blend it with the hair piece because I don’t have enough length. When I slipped this hair piece over my bun, it does not cover my hair. It rather looks like a gorgeous brunette messy bun with a big purple meatball in the middle. Not attractive at all! I imagine this would be a let down for other people with short, stiff hair that isn’t long enough to bun yet.
