I wasn't expecting too much from this little device, but it was justified on all counts. It plays all types of media and records from any media to MP4 on a USB stick or memory card. The sound of the included speakers is okay. Is this something for audiophiles? Absolutely not! The sound is a bit tinny and lacks dynamic range, but if you just want to be able to hear just about any standard audio format from the last 40 or 50+ years, then it does the job perfectly. I'll probably buy better speakers someday and expect them to improve the sound quality. I only gave it 4 stars because of the level 2 (but passable) sound and because the overall construction is on the crappy side, but it's well worth the asking price.
