I use glycolic exfoliation (up to 70% over time) to reduce the damage caused by sunspots on the scalp. A few weeks of use proved to be more effective than a year of peeling. I did some preliminary research and found an NIH study that identified certain chemicals as particularly effective for sun protection, which led me to choose this product. So far I've used this in the morning at night with vitamin C serum. Excellent results so far. I don't know what other people are complaining about the scent. In that respect it seems fairly neutral to me.
