Product works but smells awful

I will say that this product definitely works. I bought this after watching a few skincare videos from people on FB and they recommended a product that had the ingredients in this one. It had great reviews and I can definitely see why. My face became extremely irritated and red as an apple every day and now I have minimal redness and my skin is not as irritated. I've only been using it for a few weeks and I don't use it every day. I look forward to seeing results in the future after more timeโ€ฆ

Great for acne! best in person

fast shipping and great product. It helped get rid of the acne I get from wearing masks at work. I will definitely buy it again to reduce my breakouts.

Very Poor.: Seren

Haven't used it enough to see results but seems to be working well. The smell is terrible! My face smells like an ashtray! My husband actually asked me if I smoked! I hope it's not outdated or bad. I think I'll only use it occasionally when no one is around. It would be nice to have this in the description when in fact it is a normal smell! I probably won't buy again.

Try it on face

Added to my skincare routine along with several other products. My hyperpigmentation is gone. My skin is much smoother and I have fewer breakouts. I think this combined with several other products has improved the appearance of my skin. It stings a little because of the tea tree oil. Runs a little but dries like butter. It keeps your face hydrated. A little sticky but doesn't bother me.

Works perfectly! suitable for face

I use glycolic exfoliation (up to 70% over time) to reduce the damage caused by sunspots on the scalp. A few weeks of use proved to be more effective than a year of peeling. I did some preliminary research and found an NIH study that identified certain chemicals as particularly effective for sun protection, which led me to choose this product. So far I've used this in the morning at night with vitamin C serum. Excellent results so far. I don't know what other people are complaining about theโ€ฆ

Worked quicker than expected

I moisturize very consistently and generously, but every morning my chin felt rough and dry. Well, two weeks after I started using this azelaic acid, my face feels amazing all day long. My skin reacts to the serum immediately after applying it, it turns bright red, but that goes away within 20 minutes.

Suitable for acne fungus

I have several types of acne, the worst of which is acne fungus and whiteheads. I cannot use traditional skincare products due to fungal acne/malassesie (feeds on oils/esters/lipids and tends to appear on forehead/nose/neck/back). And I can't use most acne products because they still grow in oxygen, so benzoyl peroxide doesn't work and salicylic acid just doesn't tackle the root cause. It helps my bacterial acne without causing fungal acne. It also feels very gentle, I can leave it on my skinโ€ฆ

Doesn't work and smells gross

Doesn't work and smells gross. The smell is so strong that I can no longer use it. Imagine someone using fake tea tree oil to mask the smell of a musty ashtray - that smells even worse. I used it for a month with no results and gave up, in the bin. I've used The Ordinary's azelaic acid with surprisingly good results (and it's virtually odorless). I'll stick with The Ordinary.
