I bought this to replace another KVM that supports 4k HDMI but only USB1.0. THIS KVM completely disconnects your monitor from other systems when you switch to another input. Any system that isn't the selected input won't even know there is a monitor on that output, and all your windows will be moved to another 'existing' monitor. It's not good for your primary monitor if you switch between systems multiple times a day. The old one with idiotic USB support supported at least one signal to all connected systems, so I didn't rearrange all my displays and windows! And when will manufacturers stop putting USB and HDMI/DisplayPort ports on the "front"? Your USB hubs and KVM switches? It has inputs coming out the front and back, so there's no way to position it neatly on your desk where the cables aren't stretched all over the place, or you'll end up pulling it off your desk if you just look at it the wrong way Path.
