Good size for ribbon bookmarks

I taped a few pieces to a piece of cardboard that fits behind the spine and they work great. I sealed the ends after cutting by briefly touching the burner on the stove hot enough to melt the strands. Any residue on the burner is easy to scrape off as it cools.
