Review on ๐Ÿฆ– Monolophosaurus Accessory Cretaceous in Jurassic World by Greg Horn

Great sentence! Compatible with action figures and playsets

Mattel Jurassic World Camp 2021 Cretaceous Kenji and Monolophosaurus We saw Kenji's debut as part of the Scorpios Rex Danger Pack a few months ago. This new group of humans and dinosaurs is a direct repackaging of this figure. However, Kenji is a great character! Mattel has done a great job of realizing its image. The new addition to Kenji is a pretty cool scooter accessory. In the show, the kids will find several Segway scooters. Apparently, Mattel couldn't get a license to manufacture Segways and instead chose to make a utility scooter. Normally something like this would be negative, but the playability and the possibilities that the scooter offers go far beyond what the Segway has to offer. The scooter can also stand alone with Kenji. (However, it takes time to find the right balance when Kenji is sitting on it.) I even managed to get Kenji to stand on one leg using the scooter as a counterbalance! The wheels actually roll too, so that's functional too. The included monolophosaurus is a great figure too. This Monolophosaurus is a heavily revised and reconstructed version of previous Monolophosaurus figures. This Monolophosaurus is basically a version of the "Wild Pack" with the action gimmick removed. The lack of an action feature made this figure much better balanced than the other versions, which is a huge plus. The main body sculpt is identical to the others, although slightly reduced in size. The neck is basically the same but has large spikes on the back. The most important change concerns the head. The crest is completely changed to match the dinosaur's appearance in the animated series. The teeth are also much larger than the original sculpture, which is the only complaint I have. The teeth are unrealistically large. I really don't understand why the teeth were enlarged because the original teeth were already a bit too big. The color is really nice here. I like the dark body color and how it contrasts with the opposite hue on the belly and the spots on the muzzle and back. I would like the mottling and countershading to continue towards the tail, but the amount of both is an improvement over some of Mattel's later offerings. My particular character suffers from several issues with the application. The eyes are decent but not perfectly aligned. However, I've seen far worse. There's chipped paint on a couple of teeth, and there's also a few spots of alien color on the comb to the left of mine. Articulations are standard on newer Wild/Attack Pack figures. Arms and legs move forward and backward. The tail turns. The neck can move up and down and rotate. The jaw is also fully articulated. These last two joints are a significant improvement over previous Monolophosaurus figures. Kenji is great, especially when you don't have a scorpion pack and the monolophosaurus has great agility and coloring. The scooter is a much more impressive accessory than I thought. This is another impressive addition to the Camp Cretaceous lineup!
