Convenient wire spool for improved shortwave reception

I looked at the Q&A and the line 'Does this work with this or that radio? ". Assuming you already own the radio in question, you obviously don't know enough about it to ask such a question. You can do the same thing you did with this unit, by connecting a 23-foot cable to the alligator clip and it on a whip antenna. That's it. It *CAN* improve FM reception, but that's not its purpose. If your radio doesn't have shortwave, don't buy this unit. It probably won't do anything for AM reception. If You want to improve AM reception you might want to look at something like the Kaito AN-200 If your radio has an external antenna socket you can plug that in too, how well this works with your shortwave radio depends You 20+ feet of cable and attach it to a whip antenna that you can try before you buy It's 20+ feet of wire in a plastic spool with a few well wrapped connectors Well that doesn't change what Sangean always did - so positively on every 'portable' radio I had, on SH. Take it? This includes several radios from Grundigs and C Crane as well as a Tecsun PL310et. It pairs well with 23 foot wire and the spool allows you to assemble this wire in a convenient storage package when not in use. How well this works depends on your particular radio, but it will improve SHORT WAVE reception if you only use a whip antenna. If you don't know what shortwave is, do a little research. This should answer the "does it work with this" question. Please don't ask me because I won't answer. Now you know exactly what it is and how to check if this product is right for you.
