Good product for some drain clogs

This is a good product for larger clogs in sink and tub drains. I've also used it to unclog clogs in 4" main drain lines that lead to the street (assuming the clog is within 25 feet of that line). A lot of people complain that the Serpentine bends too easily, but that is ONLY true. unless you have the drill you are using calibrated to the minimum speed. ANY KITE CABLE will twist if you set the drill to maximum speed and then pull the trigger with full force. Kink: (1) Set the drill setting to the lowest RPM possible and gently pull the trigger as you begin cranking the drain (if you don't have a variable speed drill, just gently pull the trigger to increase the speed of the drain). to control RMP). . (2) Take your time and be patient when you hit the blockage. DO NOT pull the trigger harder for more power, but pull the snake back and forth at a slow spin speed and the drill bit will enter the blockage and grab the hairs/obstacles in the pipe. (3) Insert only about 5 inches of cable at a time before blocking the spool and then pulling the trigger to push the spool down the drain. Many people make the mistake of running 12" of cable through a pipe at once, which causes the cable to kink. (4) Use gloved hands in conjunction with the reverse function on the drill to remove the cable from the drain. Pipe. I've bought five of these drain augers in the last 2 (5) years because: (1) I've made the same mistakes as other people by not properly calibrating the RPM of the drill bit and not taking the time for the spool - resulting in an unusable bent cable. (2) You can only use this drill for 2-4 drains as it is not as durable as the $350 Super Vee. For example, this product is made of plastic and some plastic parts may break during the snake if you don't do Be careful, however, this drill only costs $20, while a plumber will charge you $175 to unclog a simple clog (at least where I live). sprint racing) and this product will get the job done neatly and with patience. There's nothing better than the Super Vee ($350) because you don't have to worry about twisting the cord (the wire is built into the drill) and the design is way better. However, for those living on a budget, this product gets the job done at a fraction of the price. Keep in mind that you can realistically only expect to use this product for 2-4 clogs, but $20 is better than paying a plumber $175 for a clogged drain. I recommend this product for the price.
