I wanted this dress and although I found it on many seller listings online I was amazed by the many bad reviews for both the product and the seller. I dared to order it and was pleasantly surprised. This item is of good quality and actually arrived much earlier than expected. The sizing is pretty accurate by Western standards, even a bit generous. I'm a bit tall and quite curvy (5" x 8" and I usually wear 16W). I should have ordered XL not 2XL. But many reviews of this style of clothing said that the sizes are too small, so I chose 2XL. The length is perfect, just to the ankles, and while it's a bit big for me, it doesn't look terribly big. But he has a very pear-shaped outline. I sew so I can take a few inches in the side seams. Conveniently, the pockets are shifted further down along the second seam, so you don't have to shift the pockets to get dressed. The neckline is not nearly as wide as in the picture. I have narrow shoulders and yet the actual dΓ©colletΓ© barely reaches my collarbone. It's a bit claustrophobic, I'll definitely have to convert it to a wider, lower shovel. It hugs the bust well and drapes gently over the hips. But the part of the bulge or bubble that looks draped in the picture is actually quite pronounced and somewhat oddly shaped. It's not terrible, but it's weird. However, is it so weird it's almost good? The fabric is very different from what I expected from the photos, where it seems to be a light summer fabric, airy and with a lot of drape. What I received is actually good quality thick cotton/linen, a bit heavy with a tight weave and a slight sheen. Almost like gabardine. Still, dresses don't "flow" even from a dense fabric - while unflattering, they're somehow chaste and monastic (I bought them in black). So yes, not sexy. I don't think it's the perfect fabric for hot weather; It seems it would be too heavy for beach or resort wear except on a cool, windy day or night. The thickness of the fabric is probably why the bottom is so pronounced and protrudes. Hoping the threads will loosen up a bit with wear; When washing, make sure that it does not shrink and that the fabric does not become denser (cold water, line drying). For the price this is a quality dress and well worth it. Just note the differences between the picture and my description. I might even order another one in a smaller XL and a different color - although I imagine it might look a bit monastic in white too. Maybe blue?
