I was first struck by the concept of this product when I saw a very similar grease trap used in America's Test Kitchen Show. So I bought these and used them twice. There was some leakage the first time, although I did make sure the red button was seated firmly in the hole in the bottom of the reservoir. I used it for the second time yesterday with a plate and a folded paper towel underneath. This time it not only leaked, but literally flooded the kitchen table with greasy liquid, despite the plate and towel. Useless product! waste of money! Waste of time cleaning up the mess! Good idea, bad production. I'm just sorry it's too late to bring him back. Go in the trash!
