Not bad for the price. The metal parts have been adequately examined. The screen appears to be of good quality and looks good. I was hoping it would have a buttery bronze finish with orange highlights, but it's pretty much a solid brown. The assembly instructions are just an exploded view. Directions are out of the question. The white plate is for the lampshade, so don't remove it. And don't forget to attach the lampshade to the lamp before hanging it up. There was also a spot on the vertical shaft where the paint was scratched (wrongly packaged). I didn't want to return it and I had extra parts from the bronze backlight that fit almost perfectly. FYI, its cousin, the P3712-20 concealed mount, is MUCH easier to install and the cover is easy to remove and reinstall. . It also has a better finish, IMO.
