I use this in the large skylight above our RV shower. It completely blocks light and heat. I use the larger one on our front bay window and 14x14 inch vent covers and our air conditioners can keep the set point (75) at 110 degrees outside. Before the covers, the best we could do was 85-88 on the inside. They make a HUGE difference. Watch out for the sun and warmth.
