Review on 🔩 Makita D35885 Ship Auger Drill Bit by Jeremy Gums

I purchased the version shown as "Makita D-35798 1-1/8" X 6" Marine Drill Bit Drill depth is approximately 4 1/2 inches and not 6 inches which makes the drill useless to me. The seller included the shank and screw tip in their measurements, which led me to incorrectly believe the effective length to be six inches. On Makita's outside packaging lists the correct and accurate effective drilling depth. As for the drill itself, you'd better have a very powerful corded drill, otherwise it won't work (e.g. a cordless drill). Even though it's a drill, by the way, it's turned too big, making it "almost like a drill". live and learn
