I asked for a replacement thinking the first thing I did was let the stones fall out as I wouldn't take them off when my hands got wet. I always removed the second one before doing anything related to the possible destruction of stones. My guess is that the end result isn't a ring because the stones fell out again. It's cheap and pretty, but no one wants to walk around with missing stones in the ring they'd like to wear.
