So I ordered this product because I have children who always blame others for dirty dishes and throw them around the house. I have 6 little kids so each of them gets a color. I know who washes up badly or leaves a cup on the table! The spelling of the names on the dishes didn't survive, they washed away, so it didn't work. Before dinner we play a game to see who gets which color as some people have the same favorite color. The colors of the set are bright and saturated. Children always love bright colors. They're smaller than I was hoping for, but my teens don't mind using them. They only often use one plate for the main course and one bowl for the side dish. 8 ounce mugs, which is good enough because I don't give them many sugary drinks anyway, only at dinner and lunch. This works fine for us. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has toddlers and children. Update: I was so pleased with this set that I ordered another set for my sister in law.
