Not much difference in the amount of sweating and moisture retention than my usual cotton socks. Some how my feet don't breathe as well with these socks and consequently my feet get irritated. Nice fit though, although I don't understand why the right sock has an "L" on it, probably a defect. The snug fit will probably prevent blisters from friction, but that was never a problem for me anyway.
