Lifespan 18 months?

I really liked my 43 inch Philips Momentum monitor. Now I can't work without it. I'm deducting a star because I may have to replace it in a year and a half. At times the screen has issues where the entire image appears to redraw at different heights and "vibrates" a bit before returning to normal. This repeats until I restart it. If this continues, I will buy another brand.
