Review on Extra Large Black Architectural Mailboxes 6300B-10 Oasis 360 Locking Parcel Mailbox by Warrick Infinite

I bought this mailbox refurbished and it was basically new along with the recommended metal post. The installation went smoothly and I was very happy with the result. The next day I inspected my useful work, mailbox and mail were intact. At that point, I discovered a weakness in the back door lock that should have caught the attention of the manufacturer. If you open the front mail slot and hold it half open, you will see the tailgate lock. If you insert a long-handled screwdriver into this slot, a thief can unscrew and open the tailgate lock without using force. The first thing I did was carefully attach the lock to only the locking screw and not to any other part of the lock and reattach it. This makes it very difficult to unscrew the lock. I then applied about four coats of liquid rubber to the screw head itself until it filled the screw head such that the screwdriver would not fit on the screw head. I didn't have to do this with a brand new mailbox. The manufacturer could use a screw with a different degree of protection in the lock.
