I bought this poncho towards the end of July, to have it when rainy season came along. This is the end of September and the first time I was going to use the poncho. Taking it out of the box it felt way too heavy for what I expected. On Revain it says the poncho is 11 ounces. Not true! I checked it on an electronic food scale. On the scale it came in at 801 grams, which is about 28 ounces. It's way too heavy to haul around on a backpacking trip. Looks nice, and might be great for a short day trip or maybe to have in your car. They need to amend the weight online.
