Review on Organic Brunette Arrowroot Peppermint by Acure by Tania Mendoza

Terrible dispenser and leaves residue

I had high hopes for this because I use Acure Shampoo and love it. I regret the purchase and have used it about 7 times and will just throw it away because it's a disappointing dry shampoo. It's a pale pink color so it probably won't work on dark hair, but it's the formula and packaging that worries me the most. It's like a bottle of baby powder: either too much or not enough. The formula seems good but I think the dispenser is making it sticky in your hair. If at any time after using this product I touch my hair before I wash it out, I see powder on my hands, on my nails, which I find surprising and uncomfortable. Do not touch anything other than white or light gray material, otherwise white fingerprints will remain. It made my shirts look dusty and like I had dandruff. I've never experienced this with other brands of aerosols I've tried (e.g. Batiste, Not Your Mother's, Hask, Amika). When you rub and brush it, it doesn't spread evenly and just leaves your hair looking very white. It's terrible. Independent of the brushing and rubbing, an order was even created. I had to get my hair wet and try to comb it but even that didn't help, it still looked gray and rough and I had to cover it up with a hat. I should have just washed it off completely. I gave up today after trying all week. I was hoping I could find an eco-friendly alternative and use it for travel because you can't take aerosols on planes, but it wasn't worth all the hassle it caused.
