Organic Brunette Arrowroot Peppermint by Acure Review

I had high hopes for this because I use Acure Shampoo and love it. I regret the purchase and have used it about 7 times and will just throw it away because it's a disappointing dry shampoo. It's a pale pink color so it probably won't work on dark hair, but it's the formula and packaging that worries me the most. It's like a bottle of baby powder: either too much or not enough. I expected this dry shampoo to be dark in color, so my dark brown hair doesn't leave a mark! I've tried literally everything to get rid of the white powder in my hair when I use it and it doesn't mix at all. Makes my hair super ashy and coarse.

My hair is super dark not black but very dark and too light for me. It makes my hair look a little powdery. Doesn't rub in and disappear as well as we'd like. But it's not that bad, I sent it back. I love the fact that it's non-aerosol which makes it travel friendly.

I don't know why it has such bad reviews. I've been using it for about a year and it works great. I would like the powder to be a little darker, but that's not critical.

Okay, is that a brunette color? no But this is the best dry shampoo I've ever tried! The color is mixed and everything is ok. I've used Batiste and Living Proof and this one is way better. It's important to use it BEFORE your hair gets dirty to avoid oil buildup. I use it before bed and before styling. My hair straightens easily and this stuff keeps it full for 3 days without washing.

Works great. It doesn't darken, but goes well with greasy hair as it's meant for dry shampoo. Doesn't contain all of the harsh chemicals that leave an unhealthy residue like other dry shampoos do. I can grow my hair for at least two days. I part my hair and apply it to the roots, then rub it in.

It was an odd color, not quite brunette and honestly didn't work very well either. I wanted to return but there were too many difficulties.
