Fits bike wheels with tubes and perfect for bikes with tubeless setups!

The FlatOut Sportsman formula isn't specifically marked as applicable to bicycle wheels, so I called them and ended up speaking to their product manager who specializes in the bicycle segment. This Sportsman formula has been rigorously tested with a fat-hunting e-bike manufacturer. The test environment consisted of heavy bikes riding on remote trails and overland. Sportsman Formula IS is recommended for bicycles. For fat bikes, the dose for a fat tire (26" x 4.0" and above) is half a bottle. For plus-size (roughly) 3.0-inch tires, that's 12 ounces. Scale down for smaller tires. in the tires. I was able to pull it out and roll up the tire and FlatOut sealed the gap. This was quite a large gap, which strongly supports their claim of 1/2 inch hole capability. Given its effectiveness on this and a few other pin hole (goat head) piercings, it has completely replaced my use of another leading green brand. So far I've used it on three different bikes. The fact that this sealant never dries out and lasts for the life of the tire is a huge plus. The fact that it claims to seal punctures twice as well as competing bike tire and tube sealants is an added bonus. TUBE SETTINGS When I spoke to FlatOut, this sealant had never been tested as a tubeless sealant. Its durability over the life of the tire as well as its ability to seal large punctures is what got me thinking as on my large cargo/bike flat tires are a disaster and on the road they often exceed the capabilities of widely used sealants Water-based. . This material is thick and is more suitable for large and small holes. A FlatOut product specialist I spoke to recommended that to ensure a tight fit between the bead and rim, painting the tire bead FlatOut on the outside where it meets the rim to create a seal between the bead and the rim guarantee. and try. Well I wasn't able to finish the bead painting and instead treated the setup like a standard tubeless setup, adding sealant after using air to install the tire bead. It worked PERFECTLY. I couldn't ask better. No tire deflation over time (bike wheels pictured are tubeless where I installed FlatOut). The FlatOut test is what you see in the picture now: 90mm rims, tubeless mounted and 26 x 4.8" tires with 16oz FlatOut in each tire. NOTE: FlatOut appears to be evenly distributed across the inside of the tire and will remain so even after the tire has been sitting for a while as there is a significant amount of sealant in the tire and no sloshing or unbalanced rotation occurs. PRO TIP: Flatout has a resealable application tube built right into the lid. If you have Presta valves, just take a regular cheap Presta to Schrader adapter and slip it onto the applicator hose. Then when you remove the valve core to inject the sealant, simply plug the adapter into the valve without the core. The O-ring already in the adapter ensures a tight seal and you can simply insert the FlatOut into the tire.
