I placed the 7 inch orange cones over above ground sprinkler heads to prevent fence installers and tree trimmers from tripping over the sprinklers and breaking them. I had eight people working in my front yard at the same time. The cones worked great. No one got hurt and no sprinklers were broken. After the trees were trimmed and the fence installed I gave the cones to the neighborhood kids to use as boundary markers for their soccer games. If I ever need them again I will ask the kids to loan them back to me or buy another $19.00 set on ebay.
