Review on πŸ” Enhanced SEO: Ugears Steampunk Mechanical Self-Assembly Kit by Dennis Goozmer

Nice gear driven gadget.

This is a gadget that is about 4 inches tall and can be placed on a desk, not on a clock. I had a problem with gears and used this model to solve my problem. I took it slowly and rubbed all the gears in the teeth and along the flat surfaces rubbing against the other part. I used an HB pencil to get into holes that the wax couldn't reach. (HB is a harder graphite. It leaves less mess and works better than a soft 2b pencil.) I've checked it every step of the way. What I ended up with was a model that spins back and forth freely both slowly and quickly. The gears are very complex and interesting to look at. The wood is very thick. It's a good 1/4 inch thick so the pieces aren't brittle. You have to be careful when removing difficult parts, but I haven't had any problems with breakage. If I had to say something that could be improved, I would say that the thickness of the wood made parts a bit difficult to remove at times. All in all a piece that I enjoyed. As everyone said, more would be better. For those disappointed that these aren't business hours, check out the price.

  • Confident
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
