Water Wow notebooks from Melissa & Doug are the best! They are of course for my children, but I love them myself. It's just a lot of fun to paint with water and bring out the colors in the picture. Then wait for it to dry and start over! He entertains for hours! And this is a great "church" book. Keeps kids calm without mess! In fact, we received our first of these water books as a gift. from another manufacturer. We loved this book so much that I started looking for more. That's where I found her from Melissa and Doug. They are the same as the others, only they have an improved brush. The Melissa & Doug brush is more like a brush that can move back and forth. The water also flows out quicker, preventing it from spilling too much at once, keeping the water in the brush and not running all over the book. They are also easier to fill out yourself without the help of adults. And they hold more water! I have a fondness for Melissa and Doug's books just because of the brush. (More designs are available from other brands, however.) (Price is pretty good as a set, but can get a bit pricey individually. I wouldn't pay more than $4.99.)
